Patrick Frey

Frey was born in 1973 in Seoul, South Korea. After graduating, he set up the Frey + Boge Industrial Design studio in 2004 together with Markus Boge. In 2007, the two partners went their separate ways.

The then-renamed Patrick Frey Industrial Design studio has worked for numerous renowned companies including Nils Holger Moormann, Bree, Authentics and Elmar Flötotto. From the very beginning, Frey’s work has received high recognition: during his first year of working as an independent designer, he won the Lucky Strike Junior Design Award, a design prize for young designers that comes with the highest prize money in its category. Further international awards include the iF product design award, the Good Design Award Chicago Athenaeum and the Designpreis Baden-Württemberg.
